TRUE COLORS ~ THE ILLUSION

There is light at the end of the tunnel, but you have to work for it. The important thing is not to lose sight on the obstacles that you have to face or you will lose yourself in the illusion of something that is not there.

TRUE COLORS ~ SHATTERED MIRROR

 

Mirror doesn't lie, what you see is what you get, and the true color that it shows is something you can't deny. While people fabricate you with all the lies, only you know your naked truth. Sometimes the truth can be so harsh it makes you want to run away, but accepting it will set you free.

CRYSTAL CLEAR

 Sometimes it takes us a little bit of time to figure our life out, one moment the clarity is there, the next it is gone again. By shedding some light, we might be able to make things out better and see everything more clearly, just be patient and you will reach clarity.

TRUE COLORS ~ SELF REFLECTION

More than often time we put on an outer appearance or a mask to cope with the pressure and expectation from the people around us. By doing this too long, we slowly lose who we really are as we continue to hide our true self. It is also more difficult to actually accept the inner realm to our true self since it's easier to hide it to impress the world around us, but sooner or later, reality sets in and we have to face what's real and what's not.

SILENT CAVE

Silenece is deadly but don't be trapped in it forever. Sometimes retrieving to your own space is necessary but I have to admit it is difficult to snap out of it at time. The key is balance, which is the hardest thing to learn.

1000 STARS

This photo was inspired by the video music of Natalie Bassingthwaighte ~ 1000 Stars. Each one of us is a star, we have our own uniqueness and our own shine that nobody else can compare to. It is hard to find the light within on the dark night, but if you search deeply you will find it and let it shine. Even though we are individuals, but when we come together, we will be united as one and only one. And we all make up the entire universe with each of our uniqueness.

SOARING SPARKS

Happy new Year everybody!!! Hope you have a great year ahead! On this day it's nothing better seeing the fireworks shooting and soaring across the sky. They are the symbol of joy and good luck, the strike for strength, besides the beauty of lights and shape, they also sound good to ears. I love firework, every year I go to see the firework show on New Year's eve , feeling good and hopeful for a good new year!

PAPER UMBRELLAS

I love paper umbrella, especially the green ones. When I was little I liked to collect paper umbrellas everytime eating ice cream or drink tropical fruits. I actually still have them with me now. I love paper umbrella, especially the green ones (lol). Paper umbrellas are not that special or anything, but they look colorful and playful =]

POND REFLECTION

A very old photo that I have done a long time ago, which contains a lot of composition and components. This is like a muddy pond where your legs sink deep into the soil (lol). Usually people say the reflection of you in the water or mirror is your true self, which is what you see is what you get. But consider this: it's totally reverse of what you see, left and right mixed up. So I think your reflection reflects on who you are but not completely correct since it's backward.

BLACK HEARTS

I have no idea how this picture came about. All I know was that I copied the posture of one of my promotion for SpikySpice website and here it is (lol). I don't like hearts but I like to try different things so I guess it doesn't hurt to experience with hearts haha. Anyways I like the new wings style, the black hearts sure look like balloons too (lol). I prefer it over red hearts.

MOONLIGHT LEGEND

 

Moonlight Legend was inspired from a song called Moonlight Legend in the anime Sailor Moon. This is the first time that I use a new photo technique, I had lots of fun creating this piece. I personally think that the pink moon was kind of feminine but you rarely see pink moon so I guess it's kewl to put it there (Lol)
