MASKED SOULS

One of the fun things on Halloween is pumpkin carving. The tradition of carving a pumpkin started in Scotland and Ireland where it was traditionally carved from a turnip, and in England where a beet was used.The monstrous faces carved on the pumpkin represents the spirits or souls of the unknown. Like a mask, you see only what is outside, but not actually what is behind it. The connection between what we see and what we don't see is a blur, and this represents the unknown world.

GARGOYLES DOMINATION

Gargoyles were derived from France, they were used in French architecture and also become very popular today in many outdoor decoration, especially garden. Gargoyles are symbolized as the guardians of protection,especially against evils and negative matters. The variation of gargoyles become various as each decade started, and of course, I like the one with wings =].

MOON BALCONY

I think I'm more attracted to the moon than the sun, it's mysterious, sometimes ghost. The moon plays an important role to the Earth's tide. Everytime the full moon is close to Earth, it rises the water level such as ocean and lakes.  People believe that the moon control wolfes, some said that it also controls human mood, especially full moon. If you have a chance to go to rural areas far away from the city lights, you can see how bright the moon light could be. It's super romantic to watch the moon on a balcony at night (lol).

SILENT NIGHT

It's the Holy Night, the Silent Night. The Night when Jesus was born, the magic night when the star is shining down on the East. On this night every year I celebrate his birthday, it feels really spiritual and emotional. The night is calm, the sky is clear, the wind is blowing gently. By December the 24th, I'm longing to be up North, Merry Christmas everybody =D.

SILENT PRAYER

My first photo of Halloween this year! :). I actually have done this picture a long time ago but I waited till now because it kind of has the feels of Halloween. I love the moon, and the blue color of this, makes it look soft and somewhat mysterious. I also like the crosses. More Hallowed photos coming. =]

DREAM PEGASUS

I saw a really mystical Pegasus when I was walking near the jungle one night, he was cute. I don't know why but I love white animals, they are pure and look sweet. What I like about this photo is the purple evening with the big moon in the back, looks really romantic. I have heard somewhere that Pegasus appears in children dream, it is the symbol of dream and purity. Sometimes I also mistake it with a Unicorn. 

LIBERTY TORCH

 
I love firework, especially rainbow one! Every 4th of July I always go see firework in downtown or other places. They are colorful, glorious and full of joy. I was making this photo in hurry, my stomach was tumbling when i heard fireworks outside of my window. Well, I gotta say that there are still not as much liberty granted nowadays, but anyways Happy Independence Day America.

WOLF GANG

I like white animals, especially the wild ones. I always want to own a white wolf as a pet, or a white tiger. Wolf is such a mysterious animal, especially full moon nights. I don't believe in werewolf, but I like the relationship between the wolves and the moon. Well, this picture didn't come out as my expectation, but I enjoyed working on it. =]

DEAD TREES

Red moon, bloody moon, dead moon, were all I think about when I look at this photo. One of the symbols of this moon is death, pain and agony. One time I went to the beach at night and watched the moon rise, and when the moon came up from the horizon, it was really red, and I thought it was Mars. But then I learned the red color of the moon is caused by the pollution of the earth.

POND REFLECTION

A very old photo that I have done a long time ago, which contains a lot of composition and components. This is like a muddy pond where your legs sink deep into the soil (lol). Usually people say the reflection of you in the water or mirror is your true self, which is what you see is what you get. But consider this: it's totally reverse of what you see, left and right mixed up. So I think your reflection reflects on who you are but not completely correct since it's backward.

MOONLIGHT DESTINY

 Moonlight Destiny was made a very long time ago, but it's finally published. This photo was out the same time with Moonlight Legend and Moon Revenge, it was also inspired by a song name Moonlight Destiny in the anime Sailor Moon. The reason it took too long to publish this photo because i think it was not impressive and I was sucked into other more impressive projects.

MOON REVENGE

Moon Revenge was inspired by a theme song from anime Sailor Moon, also called Moon Revenge. Honestly the word I like from the title is "Revenge", a dark and strong effort word. It's not that i want to revenge, but the word makes me think of something dark, not necessary mean doing something that someone did to me, because life is too short. The thing I'm holding on is Sailor Saturn's Silence Glaive, it looks sweet.

DEEP IMPAIR

It seems to me that I suit the darkness and depressing scene better then bright and happy ones. The original name of this photo was Tree Shadow, but then I had to changed it to Deep Impair, sounds kinda lame, but that's how my feeling was when I publish this picture. The dead trees were not supposed to be there but I'm that that they are now. Sometimes people don't understand you and make you want to turn your back on the only source of light. But hey you got your back! :)

BLUE TOXIC

 

 This was a random photo that popped out from nowhere. What really makes me giggle is my bat wings kind of look like elephant ears! (lol). But I really like the beautiful blue night and the crescent moon and it's little twin.  The tree in the back, dead, cold, stunning, is the symbol for this photo, plus the expression on my face, you can come up with a bunch of names for this picture (lol).

FIREY SKY

This is the second New Year pic of the year, maybe also the last one for the this year. I used to love firework more then now, but I still feel as it is powerful and some what mystical! One thing I have to admit is that the world will be so boring without them because? They are awesome of course! (lol)

NATURE BALANCE

Happy New Year everyone! Hopefully those of you who are having a not so good year will make a good restart for 2011, and those who are enjoying your moment will continue to do so. Life has cycles, just liek fireworks, they appear and disappears on the sky. And each one of us is firework, probably we shine but we don't realize about it.

NORTHERN LIGHT

I don't know what else to say but this is the last Christmas photo for this year and I will continue to do another Christmas series next year, can't wait for that, but for now, Merry Christmas everybody!!! I hope all of your wishes come true and may God bless you all.=].

FIRE LINES

 

I really like the horizon in this shot. The rich color of the skyline between black and all sorts of firey colors offset with my skin, and my wings cut and spread the dark and light colors boundaries apart. This is a higher level work that I've done so far. I think there's something missing but can't figure out what. I guess I'm going to accept whatever it takes for this work!

CLOUD ANGEL

This is by far, my most favorite photo! I've done the shot numerous time and finally archived the maximum quality for it. I was really really inspired by the wings from Victoria Secret Fashion Show. I fell in love qith wings. Also at this point of time I felt pure and innocent. This photo was also the most successful work so far. It attracted not only myself but lots of other people.

MOONLIGHT HALLOW

Moonlight Hallow gave me so much trouble, it took me days and hours to accomplish. Not to mention the lightning and props but the way how I express myself. It is quite a new experience for me because now I am able to fuse everything together in one. I feel a little bit more proud of myself.This is also a good picture for Halloween! Also this piece was inspired by a gay artist name Ari Gold.
