In a world full of criticism, how can you stay true to who you are? Everybody has their own story, each one of us was born to walk down the path we are destined for. Life is about finding our own identity and learning to be happy, and stay true to your color. After all, real happiness doesn't come from external factors, it comes from deep within.

TRUE COLORS ~ IN SOLITUDE

Being alone is not the same as being lonely. Solitude is peaceful, you can feel the freedom it brings, and it's one of the moments you can savor. When you're in solitude, you can get in touch with your inner self and also can do some soul searching.

TRUE COLORS ~ SELF REFLECTION

More than often time we put on an outer appearance or a mask to cope with the pressure and expectation from the people around us. By doing this too long, we slowly lose who we really are as we continue to hide our true self. It is also more difficult to actually accept the inner realm to our true self since it's easier to hide it to impress the world around us, but sooner or later, reality sets in and we have to face what's real and what's not.

TRUE COLORS ~ LIGHTS BURST

 It is always good to look at the bright side of a situation to gain your positive perspective from it. Remember, the darker the dark, the brighter the light.

TRUE COLORS ~ THOUGHTS ALOUD

 Our minds never stop thinking, even when we are not realizing it, thoughts still flowing unconsciously. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with all these thoughts till the point we get lost on them, resulting us getting stuck in our own worlds. Why not let those thoughts be heard instead of being stuck in silent? After all, the more we over think, the more complicated things get.

TRUE COLORS ~ GREEN BAMBOO

 

Bamboo is a symbol of strength and flexibility. Its strength teaches us to stand upright and its flexibility teaches us to adapt to the harshest circumstances. When life gets tough, we can not fall, by learning to adapt to whatever the situation might be and therefore, utilizing our strength.

TRUE COLORS ~ DARK LIGHT

 

Darkness and lightness always go together, and one can not exist without the other, the same with bad things and good things. In order for us to see the light, we have to go through the dark, thus we can only enjoy and appreciate the good things in life when we experience the bad ones.

TRUE COLORS ~ GOLDEN SPARKS

 We all have sparks in us, we just need to look deep inside to find them. When we are stuck in the dark and there is nothing around to light our way, our sparks are what we can hold on to to lead the way, and through these dark hours, we also find ourselves.

As human we continue to change and evolve, and we also make new turning points and start over again throughout life. That is quite important because sometimes it is necessary for us to let go of things that keep dragging is down so we can grow and become better versions of ourselves.

TRUE COLORS ~ BLACK PINK

The color black and pink have two total opposite meanings, black is portrayed as darkness and strength while pink the color of prettiness and beauty. Together they contradict each other but also create a meaning as pretty isn't everything.

The mysterious purple has been growing on me for the recent years. It is the combination of fierce red and calming blue, the balance of hot and cold. Purple is associated with many things, one of which is creativity and that is the quality that I like to have as an inspiration for many things in life.

When we got stuck in the cycle of our routines, we forget why we are here and how important we are to the world we were born into. If we could take some time to look around, we will appriciate more of all the beautiful things out there that never end.

In order to see the light you have to look for it in the dark. In order to come out on the bright side you have to work through the dark side. Both sides complete who you are, just like your bad side and your good side, if you want to br better, you have to accept your flaws. And also through the black and white you will find some colors.
